What can I expect for my pets if they are facing surgery?
Before any procedure, our caring veterinarians recommend running blood work on each patient; the results of this testing help determine whether your pet may have an underlying condition that could complicate the surgery. Because our pets feel pain in much the same way as people, pain preventatives are required before any surgical procedure. During the operation, our veterinarians will continually monitor the vital signs of the patient, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Upon conclusion of the surgery, your pet will continue to be monitored until they have recovered enough to safely return home with you.
